If Time Travel Were Possible, I’d Go to the Mesolithic Era!

Imagine waking up in the morning without worrying about bank loans, office deadlines, or social media filters. Instead, you grab a bow and arrow and head into the jungle to hunt a deer. Ah, what a peaceful life! If time travel were truly possible, I wouldn’t go to the future. No, I’d go back to the Mesolithic era.

Why the Past, Not the Future?

Because the future means more technology, more competition, and even more stress. And I don’t want that. I want a time when life was simple but deeply meaningful. A time when moonlight was more fascinating than Instagram filters, and "fast food" meant fresh, hunted meat.

My Daily Routine Would Look Like This:

  • I’d wake up naturally with the sunlight—no alarm needed.
  • Call my friends, Suman and Mahfuz (although I'm not sure if Mahfuz would come).
  • Grab a bow and arrow and set off for hunting.
  • Hunt a deer deep in the jungle, roast it over a fire, and eat—what we now call "barbecue."

No Worries, Just Nature and Freedom!

How is life today?

  • From childhood, we are stuck in an endless cycle of school, college, graduation, and job hunting.
  • If you get a job, you have to listen to your boss; if you don’t, you have to listen to society.
  • If you don’t have money, you can’t live a luxurious life. If you’re not conventionally attractive, finding a good life partner is difficult.
  • The air is so polluted that even breathing fresh air feels like a luxury.

But in the Mesolithic era?

  • No need for jobs. Nature provides everything.
  • No rich or poor—money doesn’t even exist!
  • Sleeping under the open sky, drinking fresh spring water, and living in harmony with nature—that would be life.

Of Course, There Would Be Some Challenges...

  • No WiFi, meaning no YouTube or Netflix!
  • No chance to post a "hunting a deer" selfie on Facebook.
  • Life would be tough, but isn’t that what real life is supposed to be?

Even with all the difficulties, at least there would be peace. No mental stress, no corporate rat race, and no artificial societal rules. Whatever nature provides, I’d live with it.

So, If Time Travel Were Ever Possible...

I wouldn’t waste a second. I’d leave behind all modern luxuries and return to the Mesolithic era, where life might be challenging but would follow the perfect rhythm of nature.

Honestly, we modern humans think we are advanced, but in reality, the further we drift from nature, the more miserable we become. So, if I ever get the chance, I’d go back to nature’s embrace, where life is simple yet truly fulfilling.

(P.S. If Mahfuz doesn’t want to come, I’ll go alone!)
